    •  How soon will I get my resume?

    Once we have your payment and the completed questionnaire or copy of your resume, it will only take one (1) to two (2) business days (excluding Saturdays and Sundays) for you to have your initial draft. After carefully reviewing it, please inform us if we can then prepare the final copy or if there is a need for revision. Let us also know if you wish to expedite the process and we will try to accommodate your request the best we can.

     

    • What does the Resume Posting Service do?

     With years of experience in this industry, Resume Professional Writers has mastered the art of job board posting. We offer this service to let potential employers find you at your own convenience.

     

    • I already have an existing resume. Does that help? What if I don't have a resume at all?

    We work from scratch. If you have an existing resume, we will use it as an additional source of information. When you complete the questionnaire, you will have the opportunity to paste your existing resume in the questionnaire. If you do not have an existing resume, we will work with you to gather details.

     

    • What other resume services do you provide for?

    • Do I need a cover letter?

    Some employers require one, others don’t. A cover letter could serve as a great introduction to your resume. We have a bundled package that would allow you to order a cover letter for a discounted price. For more information, visit:

     

    • What is a reference list? Tell me more about it.

    We will organize your references and prepare a sheet known as a reference list that you can produce when employers demand such information.

     

    • How much time do I have to request revisions?

    All revision requests must be completed within thirty days (from the time we e-mail the first draft).






    • How do I know my information is secure?

    With years of experience in online services, we exclusively use the latest and most secure data encryption and internet security software, protecting your information with regular system checks and updates.

    • Can you write a resume for career changers?

    Yes. If you are doing the same type of work in a different industry, such as sporting goods sales from car sales, we can highlight your sales skills that will make you qualified for the position.


    • Can I ask for a refund if I’m not satisfied with the result?

    Our professional resume writers reserve the right not to honor specific requests for refund made by the client. 

     

    • I am an existing client (used your services in the past). Now I need an update. How do I proceed?

    If you have used our services in the past and want to update your resume, please call us at 901.297.4148. We will set up a package to match your current needs.

     

    • What is the PDF version?

    The PDF version will ensure that you see the resume exactly as it is at our end (without the format getting distorted due to different versions of software). 

    You can also send the PDF file to employers (in addition to the regular Word file) to ensure that they see your resume without distortion. You will need Adobe Reader to view these files.

    • In what format will I get my documents?

    All documents will be sent via e-mail as a Word file and a PDF. Upon your final approval you will receive 2 versions of your resume: 

     *Microsoft Word (.doc). The Word version is fully editable and becomes yours to edit as needed in the future. 


    *Portable Document Format (.pdf) The PDF version is the final version that you can send to potential employers.


    • I barely have anything to put on my resume. What can you do?

    For an entry level resume, you may have little (or no) professional background info to point to reference. That’s okay! We will evaluate your experiences and skills, and you will see that you’ve got more background than you think. Our quick questionnaire will give us the data we need to make your resume stand out.
